I am Dallas, a Stay At Home Mommy to two girls, Hailey (December, 2005) and Kristen (April, 2007). I am a Georgia native, born and raised. I was an ESOL teacher for Elementary schools before I had my oldest daughter. After I had Hailey, I decided that I wanted to stay at home with her. I knew that I still wanted to contribute to our financial income somehow.
I started making tutus as a prop for taking pictures of Hailey. I started selling them after being encouraged to by friends. I started, at first, with the "Grass Roots" system of selling. Referrals, and images of tutus sent via email to friends, and friends of friends. Then, I decided to start up a website. The site launched in 2007, when my youngest was just 3 weeks old!
I call my oldest "Miss Priss" and that's where Miss Priss Tutus™ was born. Since I have two Girls, creating all things Girly comes easy to me! I create Boutique Style Sets, and Tutus for half the cost. I keep my prices reasonable and affordable so that there is a price point for everybody's budget.
